Federal Reserve Board Vice Chair Randal Quarles was a guest lecturer at the “Meet the Policymakers Forum” for students, faculty and guests sponsored by Antonin Scalia Law School’s Program on Financial Regulation & Technology on April 9, 2019.

During this 75-minute informal armchair discussion with students and guests, Vice Chair Quarles provided insights into his thinking on a wide variety of issues, including the Fed’s new living will proposal, stress testing, the impact of the inverted yield curve, renovation of the Volcker Rule, the limited role of regulatory guidance and the impact of FASB’s CECL proposal.
