Program Description: Law professors and judges frequently invoke the Rule of Law as an important principle but rarely define what the Rule of Law is or why it matters. The LEC Workshop for Law Professors on the Rule of Law considered the historical context and meaning of the rule of law and the relationship between the Rule of Law, Individual Freedom, and Economic Prosperity.
