This program will examine the economics of artificial intelligence, the law’s treatment of AI, AI’s influence on the law and legal system, including lawyering and courts, and the national security and geopolitical implications in the market for and potential weaponization of artificial intelligence.

The program will equip judges to evaluate information about AI while also situating them as better users of AI in their courts, both in chambers, and in judicial administration.
