The Economics Institute is a three and a half day educational program that helps attorneys general, solicitors general, and staff lawyers improve their understanding of the basic economic principles often found at the heart of legal and public policy disputes.

During the Institute and through interactive, classroom-style lectures, participants receive a solid grounding in economic concepts and methods and learn how these economic tools can be applied in the analysis of legal and policy issues. Ample time is set aside for participants to interact with and learn from instructors and their fellow participants outside the classroom.
