Program Description:  In their consumer protection role, state Attorneys General have broad latitude to shape policy relating to privacy and financial issues. This program will feature a variety of insightful speakers from government, academia and the private sector who will provide a balanced overview of key issues, trends, and questions relating to important contemporary consumer protection issues. Topics include defining “abusive” in abusive practices, consumer privacy laws, and the impact of regulation on consumer incentives and behavior.
