The Law & Economics Center hosted The Un-Forgotten Founder: A Celebration of George Mason’s Legacy on the Occasion of His 300th Birthday on Monday evening, December 8, 2025.

The celebration was attended by more than 120 state and federal judges from across the country, private practitioners, government attorneys, elected officials, and other friends of the Law School.

The program included a reception, celebratory exhibits from George Mason’s Gunston Hall and the Virginia Museum of History and Culture, and an all-star panel of legal experts who discussed Mason’s lasting impact on American constitutional thought.
