The George Mason Law Review and LEC hosted the 29th Annual Antitrust Symposium on February 20, 2026, at the FUSE Conference Center on George Mason University’s Arlington Campus.

The Symposium, titled The Current Boundaries of Antitrust Policy, examined the shifting landscape across multiple areas of antitrust law. Panel topics included: U.S. v. Microsoft‘s impact on interpreting Section 2 of the Sherman Act—25 years later; the reemergence of the Robinson-Patman Act; the viability of refusal to deal as a defense against tying allegations; and the varying approaches in common law and civil law jurisdictions to regulating potentially anticompetitive behavior by digital platforms.

Judges and staff in state attorney generals’ offices that work in antitrust were invited to attend the Symposium. The LEC reserved hotel rooms and reimbursed reasonable travel costs.
