The Symposium, titled Antitrust Cornucopia: AI, Ad Tech, Content Moderation, & What’s Next?, explored critical issues at the intersection of antitrust, technology, and law. Topics addressed the fallout from the Justice Department’s Ad Tech antitrust case against Google, and its implications for the ad tech ecosystem and competition; the ongoing clash between AI innovation and copyright law including examining the legal landscape surrounding generative AI models; evolving content moderation practices, focusing on Section 230 and the EU’s Digital Services Act; and, finally, what the next administration should prioritize at the antitrust agencies.

This year’s symposium also featured an esteemed guest speaker – FTC Commissioner Melissa Holyoak.
