This new Economics Institute includes a series of 75-minute lectures from leading professors of law and economics as well as technical experts on blockchain and crypto. Participants of this three-day program will be equipped with greater expertise to better interact with the blockchain and crypto issues that are sure to increasingly surface in litigation. While the agenda is still developing, the structure of the program is as follows:
  • Sessions 1 – 2 will cover principles of economics with a focus on the doctrines and concepts necessary to understand blockchain and crypto.
  • Sessions 3 – 6 will take a deep-dive into understanding the mechanics of blockchain and crypto, including pertinent terminology and the technology’s basic function.
  • Sessions 7 – 9 will cover the economics of blockchain and crypto’s regulatory framework, and will include discussion of relevant case studies.
