This workshop will expose professors to the importance of property rights, transaction costs, and markets for solving energy and environmental problems. The workshop will begin with some initial theoretical insights regarding the potential for energy and environmental markets and build to specific applications to land, forests, wildlife, minerals, water, air, and ecosystem services, to mention a few.
