From products liability and Medicaid fraud to intellectual property and antitrust claims, lawsuits and enforcement actions involving drug and medical device manufacturers are among the most frequently litigated cases in America’s courts. This two-day symposium featured a combination of classroom-style lectures and panel discussions designed to help better understand the complex economic and regulatory issues that underlie the cases brought by private litigants as well as federal and state prosecutors.

Participants heard from some of the nation’s leading experts on pharmaceutical development, distribution, and marketing. Panelists representing a broad range of perspectives assessed drug pricing, advertising, products liability, fraud, and antitrust.
