Program Description: The objective of this LEC-PERC workshop was to expose professors who teach natural resource and environmental law to the importance of property rights, transaction costs, and markets for solving environmental problems. The workshop began with some initial theoretical insights regarding the potential for environmental markets and built to specific applications to land, forests, wildlife, minerals, water, air, and ecosystem services, to mention a few.
This workshop was open to all law school faculty with an interest in these topics.
